
THE Worldwide Centre for Investigative Reporting (ICIR) has concluded a two-day coaching for chosen journalists on Enterprise and Finance Reporting.
Journalists from three focal states within the Southeast have been taken via investigative journalism, fundamentals of enterprise reporting, decoding monetary and financial information, understanding worldwide monetary flows and cash laundering, information journalism, fact-checking, and forensic interviewing strategies, amongst others.

The coaching, which was supported by Dangote Group as a part of its efforts to enhance the reportage of the Nigerian economic system normally, geared toward constructing capability for enterprise and finance reporters, notably on the sub-regional stage.

In his opening remarks, the Basic Supervisor, Branding and Communication, DangoteGroup, Okey Nwankwo, mentioned that journalists ought to set the agenda for good governance, and urged contributors to all the time inform the reality that the general public would observe.

The Government Director of ICIR, Dayo Aiyetan, represented by Alfred Akerele, welcomed and launched contributors to the targets of the programme.
